Strange movie splitting problem

Hello.

I have never ran into this type of problem and I need help. I have been splitting movies using VdubMod and Nandub forever but with this one I am having problems. When I use Nandub all of a sudden part 2 of the movie is completely desynched with the audio eventhough the complete file is perfectly synched and only part 2 becomes desynched and part 1 stays fine doesn't matter where I split the file. When I try to do the same in VDubMod it doesn't do anything at all. Time indicator is running but the program is not doing anything and then if I hit abort job it just crashes. Are there any other ways to split a movie? Is this a Nandub/VDubMod bug?

Movie info: DivX 5.1.1 1257kbps with 149 kbps vbr sound.

Try to demux/remux video and audio, perhaps it helps.

That's pretty much what I ended up doing. After splitting the movie I remuxed the original sound file into it considering the correct delays and such and it worked out OK. Still think it's kind of a strange thing. Will have to look out for that in the future.
