Well , i know , i`d installed Elisoft codec pack & Nimo "evil" pack :(

Now, i have cleaning my system (dll, registry), but my question is

Whats the right order to install the codecs?

First divx 5.1? second Xvid? then ogg? fddshow the last?
Which version of codecs ?

Thank you in advance & excuse my poor english.

I don't think it matters what order you install them, if you want a suggestion here is mine: Download the gordian knot codec pack1.5 from sourceforge, during the install, choose to install everything except divx5.1(it contains adware). Then afterwards you can buy the divx codec from divx.com and inside ffdshow you can uncheck div5 in order to keep ffdshow from decoding it. Or you can live with adware. If you need to encode something other than div5 or xvid you can install ffvfw afterwards.

If you are only interested in playback, install FFDshow only.FFDshow can handle all the DivX/XviD files.
BTW,there is no order on installing Codecs.

Thanks for your quickly asnwer!.

I´ve installed only fddshow to show my movies and works ok.

I decide use , other partition with win2000 to ripping & Encode.

Thanks a lot.
