gordian knot installer script pop-up

This program has really got under my skin tonight. I share this computer, and have to shut it down soon, but I don't know what this pop-up that says "do you want to delete default codec settings?" means. Even if its harmless, its kinda vague imo because you can't tell if its talking about the system codec settings or perhaps settings stored in g-knot .ini files or something. I don't remember the older version of G-knot asking this when installing. I have plenty of codecs and dvd backup apps installed they all work fine. There is no need for any g-knot codec packs, I have all the codecs working fine, that's not the problem. So what does it do when you say "yes" or "no"??

To the best of my recollection, it resets the codec settings (B-frames, profiles, etc.) back to the default, if you respond "yes".

In recent Gknot releases, particularly to help manage n-pass encoding, Gknot keeps records of your XviD / DivX 5 codec ettings in the Options tab in the registry.
