Hello!!
I want to manual split a 1400 MB avi movie to 2x700MB files. I was always using nandub but now with VirtualDubMod i got the following message when i try to open an avi with VBR or CBR mp3 audio:

"VBR audio stream detected. VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file(audio stream 1). The current preference is to rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compatibility. This may introduce up to 14729 ms of skrew from the video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder. (bitrate: 149.1 +- 18.0 kbps). Do you still want to rewrite the header? YES/NO?"

Can anyone HELP ME?????

Thanks!!

This is b/c vdub doesn't support vbr mp3 audio and vdubmod is based on vdub. However vdubmod can handle vbr mp3's and the best thing is to leave the header as is...if you don't your audio will be out of sync, as the pop-up message states.

Yep, Angelus is right. Just choose "No".
