I use AVI2DVD to convert my divx/xvid to DVD. The only problem i have is that i dont have scenarist, (or it dont work) what else could i use? Simple and fast is what im looking for.
Thanks!

Simple and fast usually aren't impressive and good. All you are looking for is an immediate video only, no menu program? There are tons of posts on those, if you just search.
If you want menus, or any other fancy (sorta) things like chapters, subtitles (removable, that is) or anything, you will NEED an authoring program. Once you get one, try researching it before you post. Good luck. :)

Have a look at DVDlab - it can be used simply or it can do very complicated menu structures if you want - great tool.

TMPGEnc DVD Author is also a very good basic authoring program. I like it because I can import/combine video from a dvd and mpg file.
You can combine video to create a single vts or add multiple vts' for episodes.
The newest version offers good menu editing that makes motion menu buttons and motion backgrounds easily. You can also replace motion menu buttons with text created with a graphics program (.jpg, .psd, etc.)
It won't break your bank account at $68.00 and is easy to learn.
