Trouble With CopyToDVD

I've "ripped"(?)a movie onto my hard drive using DVDshrink 3.0 beta 5. After first using CopyToDVD To burn the movie onto a Maxell DVD-RW, (which it did & STILL does) I then try to burn it again with CopyToDVD this time to a Ritek DVD-R, to which my DVD recorder (Sony DRX510UL)responds by spitting the Ritek disc out & the program tells me to "insert a (re)writable media into the tray", the next ling reading "Required free space estimation 4.36 Gb". What gives? Up until now I've had no problem recording to Ritek discs using CopyToDVD. :confused:

Do you have this problem every time you go from a DVD-RW to a DVD-R disc?

I also have a sony drive (and sony vaio computer), and i have problems when I go from a DVD-RW disc to a DVD-R. It happens when I put in a DVD-RW in to look at files (like photos) then when I take it out and put in a DVD-R disc to do some movie burring, it will not notice the DVD-R is in the drive. So I have to restart the computer.

I that didn't doesnt answer you question, but try restarting you computer then put in your DVD-R, and it might work then.

No. Up until now I've burned several Ritek DVDs with no problem at all. This problem just started.:(
