Is it possible to mux midi with avi into mkv?
If so what filters do i need to install?
if not, will there be support for it in future?

This is an interesting question, I've wondered the same thing myself, "muxing" mods would be even more interesting, though midi's would probably be more feasible, perhaps as a playable file attachment??? midis (and mods) are not like wav's and mp3's afterall.

It may be possible as .mid files are RIFF files like AVI. But I'm not sure they can be "cut" in time chuncks like audio or video. For sure you can attach a .mid in a MKV file...
Maybe it could be part of the control track we're going to work on.

If it is RIFF, then all you need is a filter that would play it back once its stored in Matroska.

Midi support would be nice.
Especially for music videos and karaoke :)
