how do i get movie title to show ond dvd player

hi, i have a problem, whenever i backup a dvd to dvd-r i can't get the movie title to show in dvd player . whenever i press time/tex button on dvd player it says no text (the original showed the name of the movie).i always name the movie in nero but title dosent show in dvd player. what am i doing wrong?

when you burn the dvd it has the ability to be called whatever you want I dont use nero , I use orlogix record now max , great burning program, it will probably give you the option , but perhaps you dont realise it , it will have a long number which is the discs identity , delete that and call it what you want

I think gorgans is trying to achieve something different here :). Some players (often changers) are able to display textual information in the display.

"dvd text" and "jacket picture" are keywords to look for - have a look at this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=51050) for a start.

also check if PBC is enabled on your DVD-Player.
