I'm new to this and playing with different settings in DVD2SVCD to get size/quality that suits me. Need to know if there is a way to start proccess from existing vob's or avi's. Also I have seen stuff on sample's but not actually how to make one. I don't mind wasting $.05 cd's but going through entire proccess to test takes forever. I have spent several hours looking through forums and havn't found an answer to this. PLEASE HELP

Edit the dvd2svcd project file.d2s and change [Settings]Project Position=64 Then you can go to the misc tab and do a restart from anywhere assuming the files needed for that particular process have been created.

Additionally, you don't need to do the actual burning when testing. Mount the images with CloneCD or Daemon Tools and play them with a software player.

You have to do the testing on the PC you have the files, before burning. I'm trying to save you some cents and time.

If you are satisfied with the quality you get on your PC monitor, chances are you'll be satisfied when playing on a 4:3 TV too (the inverse is not necessarily true).

If you have a TV output card, you can see the mounted images on you TV directy, without burning.

PS: I'm running Linux on my standalone. LOL :D
