Hey folks!
I've just downloaded BeSweet and I haven't the foggiest how to use it!
I've set everything up with paths for the music I'm looking to decrypt, and set the channels up for filtering, but just exactly how do you get it to start the filtering process?
Does the program use command functions or something, and if so, what are they?
Is there a user guide anywhere that I can download, because I can't find any relevant help files with the program itself?
Again, your help is much appreciated!:)

BeSweet is a commmand line audio encoding program.(Not decrypt,Decrypt means retrieve some thing that has already encrypted..like password protected)
It has several GUIs that can help you encoding.Find more on[http://dspguru.doom9.net].There are several guides based on BeSweet and its GUIs.Read from here:[ http://www.doom9.org/audio-guides.htm]

simple answer:
use GUI and take also a closer look of the needed apps (executions files must be set right in the GUI) then everything should work :D

two things BeSweet seems not to be able to do whereas azid does :
- produce mono wave files (-d 1/0 -o c) : I always get stereo files
- produce 24 bits (or more) wave files (-F wav24) : I always get 16 bits wave files
am I wrong somewhere ?
I could deal with only azid if there's a software which could set the delay on the fly like besweet. is there one ?

Regarding the mono output you are obviously right. BeSweet 1.5 betas accept mono input but will generate stereo output if you do not encode to MP2 or MP3 AFAIK (have to check this). Otherwise you may produce mono WAV with azid.
Regarding the delay, did you try to apply only the delay in BeSweet to your mono WAV file (like -core( /* ... */ ) -ota( -d xx ))? Otherwise maybe it's possible in BeSplit.
Regarding 24 bit WAVs I don't have any experience. BeSweet shoudl be able to generate float. WAVs but not 24 bit int. I think that feature wasn't used very much yet.

thanks for the answers. :)
in fact, I'm using 24 bits integer WAVE because I've read that AC3 files store samples with a 20 bits precision.

Does azid support decoding to 24 bit precision? (Obviously you posted that above, so please ignore this question.)
However, there are and have been lengthy discussions about the need for higher precision and sampling rates but I think this belongs to HA.org. I don't want to give any statement about this, but 16-bit is enough for my own needs.
