I accidently deleted one of my captures that i did last night and I've tried Ontrack EasyRecovery but that doesn't work at all to recover it. Anyone know of any good programs to use to restore deleted data? Thanks

These folks offer a "Free" version of their recovery software, but I have no experience with it, nor do I know how much utility the stripped down application has lost comparted to the full version. HTH

It's really shame that M$ removed undelete command from Win.
Norton utilities has it for example.
But if you worked on that partition something, it's big chance that you will be unable to retrieve file.

I've used PC Inspector File Recovery myself a number of times and it works very well. Not sure if it's freeware though.

If you're looking for an undelete application, Restoration (http://hccweb1.bai.ne.jp/~hcj58401/) is a free one that was pointed out to me just the other day. Can't say how well it works though, I haven't tried it myself.
Good luck.

Yeah i've run 2 programs and it doesn't see the 22+gig file. It's probably too big and some of the sectors of the deleted file are probably in use with another file now. I'll just wait till they do reruns and record the episode again and make sure I DONT delete it this time :D

Chances of recovering a 22+ GB file are quite slim :)

hehe clearly but maybe partial data recovery though. there is also GetDataBack from http://runtime.org. one more for a retry. might you want to keep it around for more critical data recoveries.
