I just created a backup of a movie which is 118mins and it created 2 bin files........ the second it too large and I cannot overburn quite enought to fit it..... The image is 850mb. The first CD is 825 which I can get. How can I calculate what I actually need to set it properly? I'm using the default settings and it looks like I should be able to burn up to 125 mins on 2 700mb CD's
Also I'm trying to keep the 5.1 format also and I've tried several different settings but still don't get the "Dolby Digital" on my receiver. I have looked over the forums for both ot these issues and havn't been able to solve anything with them so far. Sure would appreciate the help.

1. How did you create the images? Try using Tylo's D2SRoba 1-pass OPV method. You will get between 95-99% of cd capacity.
2. You can't do 5.1 surround with SVCD. You can do Dolby Surround with SVCD. There is an MPEG 5.1 option but there are maybe 1% of surround recievers that can decode MPEG 5.1
3. MPEG 5.1 IS NOT Dolby Digital 5.1 Totally different formats.

1. I'm a newbie and just used evertying by default. I am using TMPGEnc v 2.53 for encoding.
2. I didn't realize that the mpeg 5.1 wasn't DD 5.1. Thanx for clearing that up. Is the "Stereo" output what I need for Dolby Surround?
3. Where do I find Tylo's D2SRoba program?

1. If you are using "Constant Quality" for Rate control mode, try 2 pass VBR - the filesize prediction is more accurate. A search should have found this I would have thought but anyway.
2. Yes. Stereo output is correct.
3. By clicking right here (http://home.no.net/tylo/) but it only works with CCE not TMPGEnc.

Thank You very much....... I decided to use CCE which sounds like it works much better and the D2SRoba program and they came out perfect. I think like 25k different between the two. Now just playin to get the best picture.
Thanx again
