Sound codec ok but ....

I did a thread with ogg sound codec problem

So one guy told me to use CoreVorbis, didn't work
but I was searching for a AVI 2 VCD converter
and came across Aare avi2vcd and on there web site
they had a Codec Pack that arranged my ogg sound codec
but one problem remain

each time I start a OGM movie ( WMP classic or BsPlayer)
my computer reboot.

Yes, this is the reason you shouldn't install codec packs.

1) Do you have this also with avi's now?

2) What happens if you open the ogm in vdubmod?

Hi !

No I don't have this problem with AVI or other format
it only with OGM file

Even before I discover Gspot and saw that the sound codec
was not installed like it said, it did the same problem REBOOT

And dont worry for the pack, I selected only what was related to
OGM and OGG file, I already had Xvid and Divx and other
installed so I only choose OGM codec in the pack ( but now I have
Vorbis codec detected in Gspot ) that a start

Yesterday I redid my Win2k all SP and patch, new Wmp9
everything updated . When it append I don t have the event
writed in the even log, so I am in the dark for that prob !
