Well I extracted the ac3 track from a dvd and when I try to import in Maestro the well known " media detection error " appears..

I tried to extract with smart ripper with dvd2avi with dvddecrypter, it always does the same s***...

Than I tried to fix the ac3 with ac3fix.exe ... Still the same, I tried to extract to .wav and to re encode with softencode, still doesn't work... What 2 do?

Thkx..

This happens with ALL your ac3 files or just with this?

Hi Lkr'

I had the same problem with DVDMaestro. Is your DVD a comercial disk or an reauthored disk (that is, made by a friend or similar from an original disk)?I have reauthored some original DVD's I bought (adding subtitles, replacing audio...) and when I tried to extract tracks from the DVD made by myself I found that DVDMaestro didn't recognized AC3 and DTS tracks.I don't know where the problem is,but I hope this lines will help you.

Bye!
