my problem is that i need to have a separate mpeg for the title sequence and for the movie becuase of encoding quality.

how do i get these two mpegs to play smoothly together? is that possile?

i tried to make a track for the title sequence and its part of the audio and a separate track for the rest of the movie and the rest of the audio. when i put these two tracks together in the scenario editor, in the same title folder and play them, theres a pause in between them.

i thought i read that pgc's can seamlessly play into eachother.

is there anything i can do to get rid of this blip between my title and the movie pgc's i have. the title fades to dark and the movie fades up from black. but, the audio continues through and you can hear the break as it is now.

is there any way to have the two clips and one audio clip in the same pgc, would that work to make them play smoothly together?

Put bot tracks in the same pgc and set the cells to seamless (if that's) not done by default.

influenza, thanks for the tip. but, i might need more tips because that didn't quite work. when i put the movie track into the same pgc as the title track and play them there's still a gap in between.

the first cell of the movie track was set to "default (not seamlessly)" so i switched thet to seamless. all the rest of the cells in the movie track are "default (seamlessly)". and the cell of the title track is set to "default (not seamlessly)". unfortunately in the pull down menu there is no seamless option. there is only "default (not seamlessly)" and "not seamlessly".

so this must be the cause for the pause inbetween that cell of the title track and the first cell of my movie, but how do i make it so the "seamless" option is available?

thanks a lot
