If you're a newcomer, we would like your input in order to improve the DVD2SVCD forums. Please answer this poll by choosing every option that represents how you feel.
Also, feel free to post your comments or new alternatives we may have not thought of. The limit for a poll in this forum is just 10 items, but I'm sure that, as in school days, there are plenty of reasons for not doing your homework. :D

i think ppl is lazy, i am too , so the easiest way is to ask for the solution to the problem without spending the 10 seconds in the serch button or reading the stikies. also the laguage barrier is a problem sometimes. but in general i think its a person thing , some have the guts and the will of learning, some whant simply to make it, without knowing the basis of doing, they whant a quick meal, they dont what to read the recepie to make the meal .....
the bigest problem imho is that dvd2svcd is so DAMM GOOD ! that ppl that NEVER would start to make a backup before, now can sinply put the dvd in the reader and click a button .... wait and voila have a backup . I am still a newbie ! no matter what i know, i am no expert, i just keep on learning, and also trie to help those who deserv, so what i do is to ignore some users period. no matter if they pm me , just ignore....

@Clixo, you seem to have a low concept of mankind ;)
Here are some more that did not make it into the poll, but which have their fans too:
I don't bother choosing the right forum when I post. Eventually a mod will move it to the right place. That's what mods are for, aren't they?
If I post my log files someone can gather sensible personal information! Didn't you know that?
I actually read everything, and carefully followed the instructions. How didn't you notice?

@redeyes,
I found your statement really funny, though probably you did not mean it since you did not use any emoticons (this is probably because you are not good at reading, not because you lack good manners).
But before I consider you post an offense to the mod team (R4), I'll give you a chance to edit it and show that besides racing to be the Sinatra Newbie of the month, you can show some respect to the people who try to help you.
You have 1 hour, or you will soon have enough time "to have a life" away from the computer.

Not exactly a positive poll now is it?
I tend to read the stickies etc before I post, but I find various tutorials compliacted too follow..
DVD backup is a complex area to begin learning never mind mastering :/
for example is there a guide that explains how to use IFOEdit and what the various commands etc that the .IFO contains?
Anyway I'll continue to lurk and try and pickup what i can :D

Well, the purpose is this:
If you're a newcomer, we would like your input in order to improve the DVD2SVCD forums.
Do you think this is not positive enough?

I has happened to all of us. That's why we try to improve them, and your input as a newcomer is much appreciated.

Some top-down get-the-whole-picture approach has been attempted on the Idiots's Guide. You might start there.

You may try searching for "IFOEdit Guide". There are several attempts for various uses.
However, this is the DVD2SVCD forums, so if you have things to contribute here, we'll be happy to hear from you.
