Hi all, got a question.
I ripped a movie however there is a sound file that is pretty strange to me.
Worked like this..

DVDDecrypter to rip off the vobs.
DVD2avi to save project + the sound
VD to compress into XviD.
But now i wanted to compress the audio what has a name like
movie MPA T01 DELAY -151ms
that's all..
what's this kind of file?
It's already 106 MB so don't think I have to compress it but i can't merge it with VD since it doesn't recognize it as a wav file or so.
Anybody any idea how i could convert this so called MPA file to wav?

Thnx

Maybe i'm wrong but MPA is MPEG audio (i think MPEG-2) and is a compressed format (lossy). Anyway, either is AC3. You can encode it to MP3 or Vorbis or whatever format you want with besweet.

AFAIK, VDub should be able to import mpa... (but I'm not sure) ;)

Try to use VDub Mod instead of VDub !

You could also try to rename the audio into *.mp2 !

Otherwise Ive no idears...

Bye

I'm almost sure that VDMod can import MPA as mp2, because it can export it.
