Hello. I have looked but cannot find answer to following.

I uninstalled DVD2SVCD 1.1.3 and installed DVD2SVCD 1.2.1 b3 and told it my default preference was AVItoVCD. So now the program calls itself AVI2VCD. Great. But when I convert, I am getting SVCDs, not VCDs. In the misc tab, the input is AVI, the output is VCD. When I go to tmpgenc, and look at the settings, it is set to mpeg1, but at 480 x 480, which are not my settings. When I close and reopen the program, mpeg1 is back to 352 x 240, which are my settings. So AVI2VCD must be telling it to set to 480 x 480, which isn't right. Right? I can see no setting to make it stop doing that. The old version worked fine, so this seems like a new problem with either me or the new version. Anybody else having this problem? Any solutions?

Thanks much,
Irwin

Set your DVD2SVCD level to Advanced in the Misc tab.
Return to the Frameserver tab and you will now have a "Resize to" option. Select your required resolution from the dropdown box.

Thanks, I will try that. Is that a bug or a feature? I thought regular VCD was 352 x 240. I didn't realize you could even have a 480 by 480 VCD.
