Hi and welcome to the forum,

first of all, it would be good if you gave us a little more information concerning your process and the application that you are using.

the fact that your video is 726 megs is not a problem, as SVCDs can contain up to almost 800 mb of data. the easiest way of course would be to let DVD2SVCD do the whole process so you can just burn the isos :)

since you are not using DVD2SVCD, i'd suggest you simply try burning the mpeg file with nero in SVCD mode, and it should create all the other necessary files aswell as fit the 726 MB on a standard 80 min cdr!

anhother alternative would be to let a program like VCDEasy create the iso for you and then burn it with any burning app you want.

hi
unfortunately that was not what i was talking about!
i'm sure that your computer has enough power to do so, much more i was intestend in the process itself that you were following. what programs did you use to do your conversations, what settings did you use, etc...

without knowing what you did exactly i can't help much more!

Hi-

If you have the Bin-Cue files that DVD2SVCD created, then you can burn them easily in Nero by going File-Burn Image.

If you have only the .mpg, then do as killingspree says and use VCDEasy to create the Bin-Cues and then burn using VCDEasy or Nero.

But either way, burning that size file onto an 80 Minute CD is no problem at all.

DVD2SVCD's normal output is bin/cue files. Merely follow Doom9's step-by-step guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2svcd.htm).
