Hello everyone
I've started "remake" all my DivX and xVid movies (and these of my friends) to SVCD.I'm using DVD2SVCD with TMPGenc (1.2.1 b3 and 2.59.47.155 respectivly) and AviSynth 2.5. So far, so good.. After few tries everythings going well. But poor human nature - always wants things to go more faster. Tried some other encoders and.. Yesterday I've started new project. Watched the log and when comes out command to TMPGenc .. nothing happens. Started "Recover" form Video encoding point - same thing ! When I've looked in TaskManager TMPGenc WAS started, takes around 40MB RAM but not uses procesor time ?? If I type command line in run box - encoder starts and works fine, pass test and again nothing of next try (couple of tries to define propper CQ). One look at the TaskManager - same situation, encoder started in some kind of "ghost" mode and nothing doing.
This is the situation. And now my question - is this happend to someone ? I don't know what to do Please advice. I don't whant to stay on my comp and put all the time necessary command manually !!
Please help
10x in advance

Switching encoders and resuming is somewhat "not supported" by DVD2SVCD. Odd things may happen.
Try starting from scratch (remove all files in the working dir except the source) to see if that helps, then report back with the logs as the stickies say.
Mod: Moved to Basic.

Already done!
Also - clean new install after removing all other encoders. Just DVD2SVCD and TMPGenc.
Clear working dir - same case.
And what to post - if I didn't do anything log stops and waits at TMPGenc encoding starts:

Hmmm... Well, Tylo's plugin is for CCE. I don't know what happens with other settings if you have TMPGEnc selected.
Please try again, without the plugin, from scratch. It is not necessary to remove the other encoders, just the working files.
Make sure the plugin is not running in the tray, and post the log again.

Does TMPGEnc say something about expired version when run standalone?
Topper
24th October 2003, 20:48
Nope.
Works fine standalone and/or started with the same commandline:
"F:\DivX\TMPGEnc\TMPGEnc.exe" "F:\007\video\TMPGEnc_Project_file.tpr" /Encode /Close
Makes his test...but there is TWO copies in memory. After all I must close "ghosting" copy and then D2SDVD goes on...
