View Full Version : AC3 media causes player crash

I'm having problems playing media that uses AC3 audio. It loads up ok in several players but when actually playing it crashes and VC++ debugger comes back with an error regarded an illegal instruction and iviaudio.ax.

I had the audio filters that I downloaded from doom9 installed and following the FAQ I attempted to load both iviaudio.ax and mpgaudio.ax in GraphEdit. They both came in fine.

Is there anything else I can do to track the problem down?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum c0bra,

Have you tried Valex's Ac3 filter?IMO,it is best suited for playback.

That's because Doom9 doesn't enjoy leeching ;). Just go to the download page from the main doom9 page, or go to http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net

Sorry c0bra,
I was in a hurry for the college.I didnot know there was such a feature. Thanks for the info KpeX,and I will not link like that in future.

BTW,doom9 has exciting collection of softwares here:http://www.doom9.org/

Does this feature exists while linking to guides?
