[HELP] My Dvd start with the Film and not with the menu, how change it ?

As the subject, I've an original film in Dvd (Mad Max) and during the process of backup I want repair this "problem" :

The DVD start with the film and not with the menu, as all the dvd that I tried....
So... How can I change it with IfoEdit to start with the menu ?

Hi,

I think that when you ripped your movie the program you used simply didn't rip the IFO file wiht the menu. When you use DVDShrink you have the option to rip de movie only. This way you get no menu.
You could rip it again preserving the whole movie, and with IFOEdit make the changes to keep the menu and some extras. Of course, if you keep all the extras it's the same as backing up the entire movie (and it may not fit on one DVD-R).
In this forum look for a Post Disabling a Main Menu Button Guide.htm from 2Cool. This helped me to make exactly what you want to do.

You don't understand..... My original Dvd show me directly the film and not the menù and not the ripped vobs; I've not still rip the dvd on HD....

VIDEO_TS.IFO - expand VMGM_MAT - click on First Play PGC - go to PGC Command table - change first precommand to:
(JumpSS_VMGM) Jump to VideoManager Menu

In the Video_ts.ifo --> VMGM_MAT --> First Play PGC --> PGC Command_table I found :

Number of Pre Command : 2

1. Pre Command : Set Gprep<6> mov (set-val)<0>
2. Pre Command : (jumpTT) Jump to title: 2

If I change the 2^ Pre command in (JumpSS_VMGM) Jump to VideoManager Menu and then select Title-Menu START the film without run the tile 2 first (the warner's logo)

If I delete the 1^ command and change the 2^ Pre command (now 1^) in (JumpSS_VMGM) Jump to VideoManager Menu and then select Title-Menu START the film without run the tile 2 first (the warner's logo)

I found the solution !!!!!!!!!!

(JumpSS_VTSM) Jump to Titleset Menu with

Title Nr. 1 ; TitleSet Nr. 1 ; Menu Root
