The multi-episode DVD I have returns to "Select Episode" menu after each episode completes and it already highlights the next episode. How can I make it play all the episodes sequentially without returning to the selection menu?

When authoring such a disc you've two options I think:

1) you put all the episodes in different PGCs and also you create a PGC with all episodes in it (play all PGC). You create buttons for seperate play of the PGCS and a play all button.

2) you put all the episodes in seperate PGCs and set the psot commands of the PGCS to jump to the next PGC. After the last episode you set the post command to jump back to the menu.

If you have this last scenario on an existing dvd it should be possible to change the existing post command to show this behaviour. Look in the ifo/vob editor forum for more info.

Thanx, influenza. I'm a bit lost on both points as I'm still sort of a newbie. Is there a guide anywhere for this specific type of thing?

How do I do all this?

Pff that's kind of hard to explain if you're a real newby. I suggest reading dvd authoring guides. Visit http://dvdguides.trilight.net

Find a Dvd with episodes that has a structure as in my post and see how everything looks in the ifos.

If you dn't mind loosing the menus then use DVD Shrink in re-author mode - see:
Using DVDShrink as a Cutter (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=57961#post348712)

If you want to re-write the Navigation (not really newbie stuff) then look at my guide :
Play All Guide for DVD Lab (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=62505)
Its that easy (not) !

Thanx, maa for the info & links. I don't mind losing the menus, but Will I still be able to keep the subtitles?
