My DVD recorder (Sony DRU-500A) is set to Region 1. RCE Protection in DVD Decrypter is set to Region 1. The Charlie's Angel: Full Throttle disc is set to Region 1 and 3 (according to DVD Decrypter).
I rip the entire DVD to my hard drive in File mode. I double-click on the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and IFOedit loads it. I select DVD Play and it starts to play fine. I select Root Menu and it just hangs.
So I rebooted and I tried again, only this time I ran Get VTS Sectors on the IFOs first. It found problems with every IFO file and made the appropriate changes to them. I tried playing the DVD from IFOedit again and it hung exactly the same way.
Is there a known issue with ripping Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle with DVD Decrypter? Is there some setting I should be using?
Has anyone successfully ripped it to their HD?
