How can I cut the movie and edit with dvdlab? Is trimming the end the only feature avialable?
Any editing software you know of? thx :)

DVD Lab is not an editing software. It is a relatively new authoring software. It has some quirks and kinks yet, but it's coming along. The Mediachance Website (http://www.mediachance.com) gives a pretty good explanation of what the software "is" and "is not."
Yes, it is true that the only "editing" feature it has is the "Trim End."
What kind of editing do you want to do? Create clips? Program navigation? Extract parts of a VOB or parts of a complete titleset? I suggest you check out the Doom9 Website (http://www.doom9.org) for lists and descriptions of available software and their uses.
If you have a specific project you're working on, post the details.

I want to remove a 40 second black spot in the in the movie. Can I cut it out somehow? I'd say im trying to creat clips maybe?
I made a little test flick today and watched it, I started the first chapter 2 minutes into the movie because I didnt want the beggining.
I was still able to find the scene I tryed to cut out eventualy..
I was just messing around to see how I could cut out a scene.
I may just do something else with the movie instead so nevermind the subject unless you have any cool suggestions :) sorry if Im waisting youre time

I'm pretty new at this stuff myself, but I've learned that it's really important to know what your software can do and what the other available software can do. Also, the more specific with a question you are, the better answers you'll get to those questions.
DVD Shrink is a good software that will probably do what you want to do. There's a guide for using it on the Doom9 site.
Good Luck!!!!
