I have created a 4Gb movie file with TMPG. It is a compilation of old AVI files that I have combined in one big AVI file and then converted with DVD2SVCD to a DVD compliant MPEG2 stream. This all went well and I can play the file with WinDVD.

Now I want to create a DVD from my file. Can I do this with IFOEDIT? It appears from the guides that one needs an IFO file to begin with, but since my source is not a DVD I have no initial IFO file.

How can I proceed?

You need to seperate the audio from the video.
Open IfoEdit and press DVD Author / Author new DVD
look at the dialog in there - its pretty easy - even if your audio is a different extension, choose show all files.
I think there is a guide for this too.
