I've captured a wedding video to AVI using iuVCR and the Huffyuv 2.11 codec. This 65 GB file was then encoded in CCE SP with MPEG2 audio at 256 Kbits/s monoural (therefore 128kbits/s) resulting in the usual mpv (720x480)and mpa (48khz) files. I fed these files into DVDlab 1.22BETA and created an autoplay DVD with chapters but no menus. The resulting DVD plays perfectly on the PC, but there is no sound on my Sony player. I've used this type of authoring before, but not using either iuVCR or the Huffyuv codec and it worked fine then. What's changed in the final DVD to result in no sound?

Problem could be in audio stream format. Your project is NTSC and mpa audio format is defined only for PAL. Some players which are 100% dvd standard compliant can refuse to play such format. Try to use ac3 instead. It is theory only, I´m from PAL land so I have no practial experience with it ;).

i think coona is right, mpeg audio is not supported by many ntsc playes. Try ac3 or pcm (without commpression)if you have enough space free.
