all right!
i have a big problem.

there is a 6-channel-ogg-file on my harddrive, but i cant play it with ANY players... (winamp, VLC, Windows Media Player 9, mPlayer2, etc)

is it possible to encode that 6-channel-ogg to a surround2-ogg? or stereo???
i tried to use some audio-editing-programms (eg Total Recorder or Adobe Audition). they can load the file, they recognize, that it is a 6channel-ogg, but they cant transform it to stereo. (only the rear-channels gets transformed to stereo...)

plz help me! i've already deleted the original AC3, so i have to use the ogg-file as source!

is there a ogg-edit-tool or something else that can help me?
thx!

Welcome Bushman,

For play back you need to install Vorbis Directshow filter.Download from here :http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Filters/OggDS0995.exe
But I think winamp can play stereo ogg files.May need some plug-in for multi channel files.

And you can transcode Ogg to Ogg using BeSweet .Link here on using Headac3:http://www.doom9.org/ogg-hac3.htm [Headac3 is a GUI for Ogg encoding with BeSweet]
Link here on using Ogg Machine:http://www.doom9.org/oggmachine.htm [Dedicated Ogg encoding GUI based on BeSweet]

I think OggDS is enough for you. After its installation every directshow player will be capable of playing the file. You can also set downmixing to stereo with in the config of this filter.
