encore slow when building menus....why

Iam doing the most simplest procedure to build a DVD(folder(VIDEO and AUDIO TS))

first i select TV system then insert all of my assets then a create a new timeline an so on.....so i put it all together including subtitle...and then i start the creation of DVD folder(Make DVD folder) every thing goes OK until the part "Building menus" starts it takes about 30-50minutes @2500XPBarton

This must be wrong because Maestro does it all in 10-15minutes

I would be thankful for any advice

if you used 2 file subpic/background, then encore would do it in no time, but if you do anything fancier, encore will have to work its imitation magic.
