Hello,
I've got a Samsung sv-dvd3e standalone player, and it acts a little bit weird on "home-made" dvds.
First i authored a dvd (dvd+rw) in ulead dvd workshop, and i am able to navigate the menus but the selected item isn't highlighted. Okay, i supposed it might be the program which didn't create compilant dvds. Therefor i tried TMPGEnc dvd author, but no, same result, items aren't highlighted. Finally i tried Adobe Encore DVD and still same error. The thing common to all three tests was that i created very simple menus with no moving background.
All three discs work normally on another standalone player (Denver).
My first conclusion was that the standalone player didn't like dvd+rw discs, but then i tried cloning a "regular movie" and well the menus worked fine.
anyone got any hints on what i might try, or what the problem might be?
