Cloudy portion on burn

Hope someone can helpme.

Ive got a pioneer A05 drive with the latest firmware1.31 i believe.But recentlywhen i burn diocs regardless of mediumIseem to get a cloudy part half way through the burn,is my writer knackered or do i just need to burn at a lower speed,or do I{ (as I think I need to do)have to replace my writer.

In the A05 some cheaper 4x media ($1 or less) will give you "cloudy" results at 4x. If you want to continue using it and not get clouds just drop the burn to 2x. However, use the same media in the A06 and you won't get clouds at 4x.

Thanks for the tip, will try burning at 2X instead of 4X. Will let you know how I get on
