Guys,
I am looking for DVD Authoring Software that will let me do
the following :
1. Capture from DV Camcorder (Firewire)
2. Create Menus To Different Clips
3. Add Stills
4. Transition Effects.
I bought Pinnacle Studio, and I am sick of it already after
2 weeks. It does everything I want, with the exception that
you have to close it down and re-open it every 10 mins or
else it hangs and you lose everything you have been working
on.
Can anyone recommend a similar applicatin THAT WORKS.
Thanks
maa

Maybe the problem is your computer. If you have to close it every now and then, it may be your hardware, and whose to say it won't happen if you get some new software?
What is your current setup? How long ago was Windows installed? Maybe if you reformat your computer will work fine with Pinnacle Studio.
I have no problems at all capturing with Pinnacle Studio, never locked up after 3 hours straight on it. That was with my old 1ghz PC too.

Could you please use a descriptive title for your thread (one that describes your problem) as stated in the forum rules.
Thanks a lot :sly:

It's no big deal, nut if everyone is using such general descriptions then it will be very hard to pick post that are interesting.
I think a descriptive title will get you more response ;)

Well i also have studio8 and have no problems. The only complaint i have is, that the encoding engine sucks.

It seems to happen more often when I use HollyWood FX transitions.
