It's known that, when using Directshowsource() we often have dropped frames - at least with DivX codecs. For me reason is not known. Is it because of bad source (I checked AVI, and didn't get any error warnings by new V Dub 1.55 error check). I had about 6-7 sec dropped by 2 movie of about 2 hours long.
Could reason be that speed of encoding is too fast (1.8), and codec with postprocessing is simple too slow, and as it would work by playback - instead decreasing framerate, it drops frames?
Other thing: is there any postprocessing when use AVISource(), or by simple work in V Dub? I made some tests by changing DivX 5.05 codec playback's settings, and didn't observed any quality change by full postprocess and 0 level postproc.
