DVD plays till the second chapter then stops.

Now i have a strange problem....i have made a backup of the Lion King with DVD2DVD-R ripped out some datastreams burned it with Nero (6.19) so far so good not any errors, not by DVD2DVD-R or Nero. BTW i got a sony burner the 500. Put it on my standalone it begins playing like it sould be but when the film comes to the 2 second chapter (5 seconds before) then the film stops. When i press FF no go..when i press next chapter it begins with chapter 2 and starts playing normal again.....its always at the same spot....

I test it on a PS2 and works fine.
I test it on a diiferent sony dvdplayer (neighbour) and it stops at the same point....
Reburn it on a RW.....same results.

Maybe stupid idea, but who can tell :).

I have red that Nero 6.0.0.19 has some bug, which leads to wrong "file order burning" (fiels are burnt in wrong order). That may lead to wrong chapter skipping...

Did you try another burning software??

Well i did not use any other burning prog. and still i've got it working. I just "rearange" all the files if got from dvd2dvd-r with IfoEdit (just dit the VOB Extra without any stripping) then burned it again and that worked.

Maybe nexttime i'll try some more efficient way (if the problem comes back), another burningprog.
