Has any one tried capturing seven days on TNN? I am curious because to me it seems like the original capture of the shows periodicaly jump. (I have only noticed this jumpyness in 7days. Smallville, Enterprise, Charmed etc... Do not and decimate to 24fps quite nice) For me it happens when camera views move slowly, ei: When the team are duscussing a mission at a table and the camera view will pan from one character to another. High motion areas are fine. It makes the Telecide/Decimate proccess a nightmare. In most of these shows I have been forced to just do a field deinterlace as any Decimate settings I use seem to make these jumpy areas much more noticable.

If any one has noticed this jumpyness in 7days, have you had any success with suitable Telecide/Decimate settings that don't make these areas so noticable?

I am using Decomb 5.0.0, Avisynth 2.5, Virtualdub 1.5.4

The Telecide & Decimate settings are default ( however I have tried telecides post=2 & 4 and Decimate mode 1, 2 & 3 with various thresholds and quality settings)

Presently I am capturing on my Asus V9560VS as I have had to rma my 9700. The asus produces the same jumpyness.

FieldDeinterlace actualy does a great job leaving it at 29fps, but it would be nice to be able to do a IVTC

It has something to do with the Decomb 5.00. Neuron knows about it I believe and is working on a fix. Check his websites forums for more info
