Put your scene selection menu in the language folder along with the main menu and set the menu type to PTT. And you only need the one link to the title folder in order to play the movie.

What I would do is place your chapter menu in the language folder of VTS1 which becomes your root menu. Then place your main menu in the video manager, this becomes your title menu. Finaly connect the pre command on the first PGC to the main menu. I think that by placing the chapter menu in with the feature you will lose any time display on the DVD player. This is the way that lower end authoring packages work, keeping everything within one title set. Hope this helps.

The title menu usualy takes you back to the very first menu, that is why we place it in the video manager, that way where ever you are in your DVD, you can always return here. I usualy place chapter menus in the language folder of the VTS that my feature is in. This is because the root button takes you back to the menu of the VTS you are currently in. I think that is a very standard layout for DVDs. I could be wrong but it has always worked well for me and my clients have never complained. Give it a try and see what you think.

PTT refers to the first chapter menu,in case you have more than one. Like Clown Shoes said, the first menu dropped in the VGM will be your title menu, but you can set which menu in the VGM will be the title menu. And the menu in the VTS will be your root menu. The set up depends on how you want it, there's no special set of rules or anything like that. Also it depends on your dvd player, some software players have where you can go to specific menus ie. audio,chapters,title, and root. That's why i recommended setting the chapter menu to PTT. And in case of multiple menus, you can set which one is what.
