This is the first time I see something like that…

I have a dual aspect ratio movie that I run through DVDshrink in order to encode one of the ratio titles to still frames (I frame encode only).
The new VIDEO_TS folder is working without a problem in my HD with Ifoedit and power DVD.

When I burn the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS using record now the disk will not play correctly with power dvd, ifoedit or on the stand alone player.

Therefore, I made an image with ImgTools089, and then used DVDDecrypter to burn the movie.img to a disk. The disk will play perfectly on the stand alone but will not work with Power dvd, or ifoedit on the PC!!!

I checked the ifo’s of the burned DVD-RW disk with ifoedit and they appear to be empty!!! There is no information given when they are opened by ifoedit. It is like ifoedit095 can open them, but can’t actually read them.

Please note that the ifo’s are not 0 bytes, but are the same size as the ones in the VIDEO_TS folder prior to creating the image. They just can’t be read by ifoedit.

I think that the image file somehow gets corrupted (?????)

I don’t know what to assume…The disk is working on the stand alone but is not working on the PC!!!!!!

Any suggestions are very welcome
Thank you,

You could try to mount the image with daemon tools to see what happen.

Same thing.

The mounted dvd will not play in the computer. When I open the mounted ifo's with ifoedit I can not see any navigation commands, or any other info.
The only thing that I see for each ifo is the address at the top window in ifoedit. But no tables or anything else!!! THere is no plus sigh next to it to expand it and read it!!!

Thanks,

You could try ImgTool Classic 0.90 B7 (i use this version), it uses a different writing engine, perhaps the problem will go.

There was a problem in 0.89 where the UDF and ISO9660 filesystems could be 1 sector out.
The ISO9660 one is correct, the UDF one thinks all files are one sector later on in the disc than they actually are.
Because of that, the IFO files dont start with the correct header and so IFOEdit wont open them.

The problem is actually with the dll used by 0.89 and not 0.89 itself :)

I used the new ImgTool Classic 0.90 B7 and DVDDecrypter and the disk is good.

Thank you all...
