I've looked all over for a good RM to MP3 or WAV converter, and while I have found several results with Google about it, I haven't found any that actually worked fully. I had one that acted as if it was going, but it only converted 20 min of the 45 min file.

What have you used and had good sucess with it? I tried using the diskwriter with Winamp, and while it plays the file fine, it locks up Winamp when I try to write it.

Did you try installing RealOne and Gabest's RealMediaSplitter filter and just hooking the decoder to WavDest and the FileWriter filter in Graphedit?

I haven't tried that, but I can give it a shot if I can remember how to use Graphedit.

Ah, this is quite easy. Open Graphedit and choose 'Render Media File' from the File menu. Open your file. Remove the DirectSound device and connect this one to WavDest (comes with doom9 Graphedit package, has to be registered though). Connect WavDest to the file writer and hit the green arrow for starting. Maybe that works, but I didn't try myself. The WAV can get encoded in BeSweet or with LAME, whatever you prefer.
