View Full Version : For those who cant get IC8 Virtual Drive to work, try this.

If you cant get IC8 Virtual Drive to work, see if you have Intel Application Accelerator or Intel Ultra ATA software installed, if you do, uninstall it and presto, it should now mount images and work. For some reason this software stops the virtual drive from reading the .pdi images. I Hope this helps most of you if not all of you.

I'm not dinning at home today so I'll be coming home late. Worst of all, this week I'm teaching courses so I have to be soon at work everyday. (At least I'll get paid extra!).

No luck!
Still gives a message saying the mounting was sucessful, but when I try to play the drive it still also tells me to insert DVD.

Or try the newest Daemon Tools. Can read PDI too.

IC7/8 .pdi's cannot be read by DaemonTools. already tried this

Yes, I've read somewhere that Pinacle has broken their own specs for PDI files in IC8.
Go figure!
