I have a 200i and can bitset it but it SUCKS at reading discs. I can get a 300i where I work but I dont want to get it unless it supports bitsetting. Can anyone verify this for me and I thank you.

Also I have a Lite-On LDW-401s that sucks PERIOD. anyone can get this thing to support bitsetting or am I just gonna have to take this POS back for a refund? :) It reads everything I throw into it no prob but ITS SET TO DVD+RW!!!!! WTF!!!! if there is anyone out there with some useful info I greatly appreciate it :)

HP dvd300i supports bitsetting on DVD+RW, DVD+R is burnt as DVD-ROM by default. The Lite-On drive does not support bitsetting at all.

BenQ DW400A/DW800A and Ricoh MP5240A also support bitsetting on DVD+R/RW.
