I`ve borrowed a couple of DVD`s (backups) and I`ve tried ripping them to hd using DVD-Decriptor (file-iso), Smart ripper and Windows explorer.
I`ve tried it in an LG read only dvd drive, a nec ND-1300a dvd+-rw and a toshiba laptop drive. Playing on my standalone panasonic dvd player they get choppy at the end.
I can`t get more than 50% before read errors and a "cyclic redundancy check"
Is there any way, program, I can use to recover the films or is it just down to [Edit, R4] drives or media.
The person who owns them doesn`t seem to have a problem playing the disks. They are +R`s.
Any ideas?
