hi
just wanted to know if someone could point me to a specific filter to transcode from NTSC to PAL (I have an interlacing problem).
I tried already smoothdeinterlacer and dgbob but didn't find a good solution.

My NTSC DVD is progressive and I want something progressive as well in PAL but I have some artefacts when transcoding with tmpgenc.
Do you know if I should always have them or not?

Thanks

Ragornette

Well if your DVD is progressive, then you don't need to deinterlace...

Progressive images are not interlaced...

On the other hand I think that most NTSC DVDs are interlaced.
Anyway try to use FieldDeinterlace(), that should do the job.

It works for most interlaced DVDs i've seen.
