Blank to all the community, I follow from much time doom9 (is eng that ita) BUT never I have till now not had need of ulterior explanations after to have read one of your guides but this time it is not therefore....

In being to make a Backup-copy of my DVD (The Ring in this case) I'm myself blocked in a problem that till now nobody has known to me to resolve…

About all, I have read ALL the guide to the backup of a dvd-9 in dvd-5 (dvd-r) of Doom9 (that advanced guide that it uses IfoEdit)…

My scope in copying a Film from dvd to dvd-r is that one to compress the less possible video therefore to only maintain menu the closely necessary (therefore the Start Menu and that one of access directed to the scenes) and to eliminate ALL the rest (audio special, extra trailer, interviews and of course non italian audio-flows, sub etc etc)…

With IfoEdit it's now simple for me to eliminate part of menu, the flows audio and sub BUT the problem arrives when I've an entire one title (es. the vts_2 in THE RING) that I want to eliminate why includes ONLY the Trailer (in my example of the vts_2)…

The VTS_2 therefore is formed:

VTS_02_0
1 ID
Frame Nero

VTS_02_1
3 ID
ID 1: Trailer originates them The Ring
ID 2: Trailer of an other film
ID 3: Black Frame

So.... if I delete simply the VOB/IFO/BUP from folder VIDEO_TS when I go to recompress the vob with, for example, DVDShrink during the phase of analysis of the video_ts.ifo I get the error "Files not found" and then even if I go to compress vob the program crash.Same thing happens with the other programs why within to the aforesaid one ifo (video_ts.ifo) is still the references to such title it and therefore loading this IFO I obtain an error.

After all my question is:

As I can eliminate every Title that I don't want and then to correct the structure of the DVD (several ifo) to have mine vob compressable, recordable and finally perfectly playable stand-alone dvd readers ?

Thanks to all

This should do it for you:
Remove complete Titleset if no 0.xx entries are available (UPDATING) (http://www.deano.dsl.pipex.com/backup/vobid/complete/complete.htm)
