Re : GSpot V2.21 running on Windows Me

GSpot does not find any installed video Codecs on my PC [I guarantee there are some!].
When trying View/Installed Codec/Video, GSpot crashes (program halted, no other message).

More information :
- when trying View/Installed Codec/Audo, everything is OK (I get my list).
- if I open a .avi file, GSpot normally returns the names of the needed video & audio Codecs.
- this happened since I installed GSpot. The option never worked for me.

Did anybody face the same problem ? ....

May it be caused by one of my installed video codecs ?

Help welcome

definitely possible, if not likely...

i'd suggest you check if you have any old/strange/unneeded codecs installed and remove them one by one... chances are that an old version or derrivate of divx 3.11 alpha ;-) is f***ing around with your system.
