Hi , im makking CS movie than i saw theres a lil glitch or w/e when im encoding it .

Bitrate : 2500 / 1 pass CBR
Quartepel on

As you can see , the first part is OK

At the 2nd part , there's some line in the screen that madding this video sucking .

The file seems corrupt to me, it told me there was a CRC error and wouldn't unrar it. Anyway, I can give you a couple tips. First of all, it might be best to not limit the quants so much. I am of the opinion that it is ok to do it a little to eliminate the use of really high quants, but certainly not as much as you are doing. Probably, it might be best to just leave them defaults at 2-31. Secondly, don't use quarterpixel if it is one of koepi's or nic's latest builds probably it isn't working too well it is better in almost all cases to leave it off. Also, you should use 2-pass since you will always get better quality. Lastly, please give you thread a proper descriptive title, this is the rules and tell us what XviD build you used. Without knowing the build date it is difficult to figure what the problem is.

If you're referring to the horizontal combing lines, the last few seconds of your video appear to be interlaced content, i.e. field based. For example, if you open up the file in Vdub and look a high motion frame such as #189, you'll see it appears as if it contains parts of two different pictures. If you don't know what this means or aren't familiar with interlaced content, do a forum search. Interesting that the first few seconds appear to be progressive and the last few appear to be interlaced. This interlaced effect has nothing to do with xvid or your settings, it is based on your source video, which you didn't mention. You're going to need to apply some kind of deinterlacing filter to 'fix' the horizontal lines in the second part of the video.

btw BoNz1 is right. There is no need to cap quantizers.
