I made a DVD and used the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders but it won't play in any DVD players other then computers.
Anyone know why?

Possibly, the player(s) you have tested it with do not support the media. Check them at www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers to make sure that your media is usable with your player(s).

No because I've used the same DVDs using DVDXCOPY to make backups of DVD I've bought and they work fine

What software did you use to burn the files?
Was the correct format used for DVD Video?

See the DVD Burning guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdburn.htm) on Doom9's site.

Cheers, Beastie.

I used nero to burn and DVD-LAB to convert to DVD format/files

Have you checked out your player/media compatibility using the link jggimi gave you? You hadn't indicated if you'd done this or not, and believe me, media incompatibility is at the root of a very high percentage of these types of problems.

Make sure Nero isn't leaving the dvd session open (write to disk again) like a multi session cd. Some dvd players won't read a dvd if it hasn't been closed. Xcopy closes the session (disk) it doesn't leave it open. Nero lets you decide in settings open-closed disk.
