Audio not synchronized in my DVD Player

Hi!

I converted a divx-film to SVCD with DVD2SVCD. My problem is that when
I watch the SVCD in my DVD Player (Sony 1305) the sound is not synchronized with the video. But if I watch it on my PC with WinDVD everything is ok.

Can it be that I should not put 800MB on a 700MB cd?
Or is it the fault of my DVD-player?

I had this problems with other films too, but only if the source was DivX.

Ive also had this problem on my sony ns400d. It seemed to play dvd2svcd vcds, but not svcds that have header tricks on them. I recently did my first ever dvd to svcd with princess mononoke (my own copy btw, just to clear any mixups.) and it plays PERFECT on my pc, but is off synch on my standalone
