As the title says, I won't be able to use mfRainbow, and that's because the script I'll be using has Dust and mfToon and therefore will be very slow already. From browsing this forum and a couple of sitesre, I thought of two alternatives:
Cnr2("xxx",4,5,255) ---> Marc FD's recommended CNR2 settings for removing rainbows.
Antiblink ---> Don't know where to download it from, wether to use the latest v2.5x version or the latest v2.0x with the LoadOldPlugins procedure and which settings to use, but since mf said mfRainbow is inspired from this, I guess it's pretty good.
Any feedback is welcome.

Did you already try sh0dan's "Rainbow killer" (tm) ?

Actually, I found that thread shortly after posting this one. I just didn't have the time to reply here yet :D.
I hope enough people pester Shodan so that he makes it into a DLL-based filter. People that use mfToon will always have conflicts otherwise, and since I'm mostly going to be capping anime/cartoons....

I'm currently working on MipSmooth 1.0, which is in final testing/documentation stage, and considering the flexibility of a scriptbased filter.
Wouldn't it be better to fix mfToon/Masktools (whichever has the bug)?

I don't think there's an easy way to fix mfToon since it's a script like "Rainbow Killer" and the problem is that it uses a very specific MaskTools version which seems to be unsupported by "Rainbow Killer". That problem is explained in the thread Schlumpf linked to (the same thread where you announced R.K). I also posted a request for mfToon to become a DLL-based filter, but mf can't do it right now and I don't know who else could do it, so I guess we're out of luck for now.
Maybe you could give this a whirl after completing MipSmooth 1.0? When can we expect MipSmooth 1.0, BTW?

I think I'll be back at internal DirectShow support. If anyone wants to do a filter, the base is there.

Tomorrow probably.

OK then, maybe Richard Berg can do it?
