While playing around with DivX for the first time, I accidentally converted (to MJPG) a bunch of AVIs that are part of a Premiere project I'm working on. Now Premiere won't open them.
Can anyone suggest a fast (batch?) method of getting these files back to DV format. Thanx.

Simply open the file in VirtualDub, select a DV codec (has to be a VfW codec), fast recompress, and direct stream copy in Audio. Involves recompression (and quality degradation), though. You'll get a type-2 DV file this way.
On the other hand I think Premiere should be able to work with an MJPEG file, too... Maybe you MJPEG codec is not installed properly?

Thanx for the response. I did do a test earlier with Virtual Dub.
I was hoping there may be some DOS? program that would allow me to batch the files.
Your second idea is interesting; I'm going to look closer at Premiere. I didn't realize I could use MPEGs.
