I have a Matroska file that I'm trying to convert to OGM. It's part 2 of a movie. When I load it into vdubmod it gives an error about the subtitle stream not having a duration.

The reason I'm converting to OGM (because I know someone is going to ask) is because then I can play it without needing any extra filters and the ONLY thing the mkv file is doing over the ogm file is saving 4mb's.

Now, the question.

Is there any program that I can use to get in there to remove the subtitle stream or to fix this issue so that vdubmod can convert it to OGM?

I tried AVI-MUX GUI to re-combine the two files, but it made an 890mb version of part 2.

I tried the Matroska Stream Editor in a thread lower down, but it doesn't seem to do anything when I open the file (or any other mkv file for that matter).

Any ideas?

You don't need an extra filter to play OGM ??? Did your machine ship with OggDS installed ?

Did you try latest versions ? (e.g. here (http://cyrius.bunkus.org/VDubMod_Release.zip))
IIRC latest versions don't throw an error about the problem you encountered, just a warning. However this means that the last subtitle of the file will be removed (the no duration problem was due to a bug in previous versions of VDubMod and that would happen from time to time when muxing subtitles in MKV ... this bug has been fixed of course in the meantime :p)

Booyah Suiryc!

I was using version 2066 (the link is to 2178). Problem solved!

Thanks bro :D

It gets annoying sometimes, how fast these programs get updated. Heheheheheheh.
